What do you think what browser is the best and why?

I think IE is better. Why? Well its made from Microsoft and covers all the newest web code available. I like firefox but it has those ugly borders around the images while it loads just like Netscape, bit crazy!

What do you think?

I'll take Firefox as well, because it has a very nice popup blocker and you can open tabs. Also, it's a well-known fact that Internet Explorer doesn't show code as well as Firefox, because of it's lack of support for standards.

I use IE most of the time and Firefox too. But just last night a friend IM'ed me that his Firefox bookmarks were gone after he installed XP SP2 and he of course blames everything on Bill Gates and stuff so I googled for Firefox Lost Bookmarks and damn it's not Bill's fault but more a bug in Firefox.

But IE 7 looks very nice in the summer. More security stuff then Firefox will have IMO.

I normaly use Firefox more cause because I think it is better. Less problems with it then IE. I do use IE for some things that I cant do in Firefox. Some websites wont let you visit them without being in IE. I still think firefox is alittle better tho.

I used to use firefow a lot. But on my computer firefox would just dissapear for no reason. So i got tired of that and im using ie a lot more. I till use firefox to check how a site would look in it. Since firefow is getting a lot more popular.

Im also thinking firefox is a little over rated. I just done see what the big deal about it is?

firefox,

better coded in general.
tab browsing.
popup blocker.
ad blocker.
supports CSS2.
more plug-ins.
css editor so you can change what different sites look like.

eg://
deviantart is usually an ugly green with fuckloads of ads. Load the new css and you get sleek silver ad free interface:

I think that is quite conclusive that firefox is WAY better than internet explorer.

i generally use firefox, but does everyone know about the JavaScript hack? I read it somewhere reiable, and it is the company that makes Firefox knows that it is possible for someone to hack your computer through the Javascipt being run by Firefox... I'm not sure though if the/a newer version of Firefox corrected this problem yet though

I say Firefox, it's faster than IE on my computer anyway. Also it's sleeker I think, simpler than IE.
Plus you can open tabs
I do use IE when designing a website however because we all know some things look better in IE than in Firefox and visa-versa, I always run into some kinda of browser difference and have to spend ages trying to reach a compramise.
